MY ASPIRATION...

• The development of human capital starts at the early age i.e preschool level, hence, we want to contribute in terms of experience, knowledge and expertise.

• In line with our Minister of Education’s aspiration in encouraging the setting up of more private kindergartens especially in the rural areas.

• To reap the mutual benefits of sharing, engaging and discussing ideas and issues related to early childhood education especially on learning and teaching methodologies.

• Encouraging parents’ serious involvement and commitment towards their
children’s early childhood education.

• Being aware of changes taking place in this industry and taking steps and actions to remedy or ride on the changes.

• To inculcate the passion for reading and acquiring of knowledge in our society

• Encouraging graduates to get involve in this line of business and making use of the knowledge to teach their children at the same time.

• Discharging our duty and responsibility to the Muslims in terms of encouraging the culture of knowledge among the ummah.

PLAY RHYMIN' SIMON




Q1, Do you know what rhyming words are?
A1, Words that have the same ending sound.
eg: "floor and door" rhyme
"cat and bat" rhyme
"dog and cat" do not rhyme

Sing this nursery rhyme :
Twinkle twinkle little star,
How I wonder what you are,
Up above the world so high,
Like a diamond in the sky.

Eventhough , the 'end spelling' is not the same;
star and are do rhyme,
high and sky also rhyme.

Q2 Why rhyming is important?
A2 When kids are familiar with rhyming words they will eventually grasp early reading without much problems.

ARTS BUILD CREATIVITY FOR LIFE
















































If you ask your child...


Q1.What subject he/she likes to do most but not/or less done in school?

Q2.What subject not seriously taught in school( as it is not a UPSR subject) but in actual fact it is the subject that will inspire the creativity in every child?

Q3.What lesson that involves mixing and playing with primary colours ( red ,yellow,blue) to get interesting secondary colours like pink,purple,orange and green?

The answer for the above is of course....ART & CRAFT lesson.

~ I discovered green is a mixture of yellow and blue when I was at my secondary school.Should I explore the experiment much earlier I would have become much much more creative than what I have been today.

~To my surprise,I can get brown colour by mixing red ,yellow and blue.I discovered this through my 8 year old Adam who attended Abrakadoodle Art & Craft holiday programme last week.http://www.abrakadoodle.com.my

DO WE PRAY FOR OTHERS?

As my eight year old kid was reciting the Doa after his maghrib prayer, he looked up to me and asked, “Ibu..Adek really miss Nadim….Adek’s best friend”, he bemoaned . “What happened to him? I shrugged.”He has not been around at school since last week, he had met with an accident…”, my son replied. “I am so sorry son, maybe we can visit him today and hopefully that will make you feel better”, I murmured. “ Can I ask Allah to take care of Nadim, ask Allah to heal his wounds so Nadim can get back to school soon?” suddenly my son interrupted.” But of course son, you can always ask Allah anything as long as the intention is good, go ahead, recite that in your Doa”, I concurred.As I left my son’s room I heard him continued reciting his Doa and I can hear Nadim’s name in the background…

I started to reflect on the conversation with my son that evening and relate to my own life, our society and the planet that we live in. Do I pray for my neighbours? Do I pray for my neighbours’ kids? Do I pray for my teachers,my teachers’ kids,my friends and their kids? Perhaps if all the neighbours’ kids are blessed, all school children are blessed, community and society will be blessed… our kids will be mingling around in a blessed surrounding and the planet will be a much better place to live in....

...LEARNING TO APPRECIATE...

We or rather our society is not accustomed to giving appreciation...maybe it has got to do with our upringing, culture, education or just our innersense of being preoccupied with 'receiving' rather than 'giving'...

Little gestures like saying thank you,congratulations, a congralutory sms, a greeting card or even a pat on the back do wonders to the receiving ends.

Why don't we start from home with our kids to say...thank you Ibu, thank you Abang,thank you Bibik, congratulations Angah...good Maisarah, very good Anis, excellent Abang Chik and all the superlatives...

Why don't we encourage our preschool kids to say thank you Teacher, thank you Friends, congratulations Adam...good Ashraf,very good Ilham, excellent Shafiq and all the synonyms...

In order it to be bold, spontaneous yet sincere...it must come from the heart...

....the greatest appreciation of all is to the Almighty,the Most Merciful...
Alhamdulillah...thank you Allah...thank you Allah...

BELAJARLAH MENGHARGAI...IA PERLU DIDIDIK...

Semalam hari guru...16 mei 2010..jatuh pada hari Ahad.Asyiknya menonton program Nasi Lemak Kopi O masa Aziz Desa dok interview guru BM & Maths kepada Yang Berhormat Dato' Seri Mohd. Najib dizaman persekolahan beliau.Katanya, masa di sekolah PM memang seorang yang berwibawa, segak, bersih, tampan, bijak, pandai( semua subjek skor A )Agak pendiam....ye la... orangnya tak suka buat bising, tak merapu tak tentu pasal, dan tak buat benda2 yg cikgu tak suka.No wonderlah beliau jadi pemimpin negara sekarang ni.Bagaimana agaknya cara didikan ibubapanya.....PM ke-2 dan ibunya Pn. Rahah?

Hari ini Isnin 17 Mei 2010.Selalunya, meja penuh dgn kad2 ucapan untuk guru.Tahun ni?...Mereka tlh lupa...Tahun2 sebelumnya sempena Hari Guru cikgu akan mengingatkan anak muridnya untuk buat kad dan hanya kad(bukan beli) untuk gurunya dgn niat untuk mendidik bebudak ni agar tahu menghargai jasa guru.Dengan hasrat biarlah besar nanti akan tahu menghargai jasa sesiapa yg tlh menolong mereka ; Ibu, Bapa, Guru, Kawan2 dsbnya.Bukanlah harapan untuk mendapat imbuhan tapi hanya secebis penghargaan

Ya...Kita tidak dididik begitu.Salahkan saja nenek moyangku...

Ahh!! Usah lagi dipersalahkan sesiapa.Marilah kita bersama mendidik anak2 ini agar tahu menghargai.Ucapkan terimakasih itu sempena Hari Guru dan dimana-mana perlu.Mudah! Tapi ramai yg tak tahu......
